I have been trying to find out if it is pos. to access court records for some time as i wish to review a certain case please tell me if this is pos as i am slowly going round the twist trying to find out !!

it is only possible (in uk) if the records become public knowledge (usually after 5, 10, 15yrs or if both parties involve have died ) or unless you are a lawyer and are issuing an appeal on behalf of anyone involved in the case then you can have acess to them but if you were part of legal proffession you would know this

It depends on the case. I work for county government where I live and most information is public record and can be openly viewed by anyone. Others, however, are sealed or considered confidential & would depend on how old the case is and the type of case it is. The only way to tell is to go to your local county prosecutor's office or clerk of courts office and ask. They will tell you one way or the other if it is possible. Good luck.

some states, counties and cities have these records on line
however most do not.
you must visit the proper agency to gain access to these records.
