I want my hair to have big curls but not like "Shirly Temple" curls. I want them more wavy than that. I have a 1.5inch curling iron and rollers. Any suggestions...?

This might make your curls tighter than you want.. but this is what I do.

I use Sebastion Molding Mud (find at a salon or trade secret).

After your shower, comb your hair and get all the wet out of it so it's not too heavy. Flip upside down and start scrunching with a towel to get started.

Depending on how long your hair is rub some mud in your hands (it's heat activated). Becareful not to use too much because it can make you greasy.

Scrunch into hair (more on the ends, less on roots), and then switch to blow dryer, diffuser if you have one, lower setting if you don't. Scrunch til your hands hurt!

Set with a blast of cold air (helps the curls set) and light hair spray if you want.

Sometimes I just use a good bit of strong hold gel, and scrunch. No blow dry. Thats what I did today :-)

Good luck!

Use some pantene curling moose..apply to hair..put your curlers in and let them stay in for a few hours..use your BIG curling iron to add to once you take out the rollers..then spray and go.

good luck

Do you mean like beach curls? Like Kate Hudson? Maybe let it dry with curlers then add gel? not sure I'm sure they have gels and tips for this type of hair on the internet or ask your stylist
