I was on it about 2 years ago. It is a nice ship with good service. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the newer ships but it is a very nice ship with nicely laid out state rooms. The only problem with it is that there are a few 'you can't get there from here' layout issues. I found the demographics to be a bit older and perhaps a bit more subdued than on some of the other cruises I have been on, although that can be due to time of the year I traveled on it. The only top of the head tip I can think of is the the 2 main dining rooms serve the same food so if there is a line at 1, check the other. The Italian dining room has the same menu every night of the cruise except for I believe the last night. here is a link to a photo album ofmy cruise on the dream.

I know this probably doesn't answer your question, but please be careful of going with NCL. In 8 years of travel I have had so many reservation problems with them I personally tend to shy away from them. I think they have some nice ships yes, but there are several other cruise lines/ships out there that we as agents just don't encounter problems with such as NCL.

I have heard this also from several agents in the industry and these are seasoned agents like myself. So if you hear it so much then you do tend to be a bit Leary and it isn't usually a very good sign. In fact NCL over the years is the one line many agents seem to agree with. I have never heard an agent say "I love NCL". So if that tells you anything..... Is this your first cruise experience? If you do go on this ship I wish you the best time of course and it doesn't mean that just because of me saying this you will encounter problems. In fact I hope you don't =)

In answer to your question though I have not had much experience with this particular ship. If I do use NCL it tends to be more for Hawaii because of there itineraries are pretty good.

If there is anything I can do to assist you with travel arrangements feel free to email me and I can give you my contact information.
