For example, if I ask about spontaneous combustion and that Satan made me do it, do you think it possible this is a joke, with an intended atheist audience?
I'm only asking cause the intention of the question was to make atheists laugh, I don't understand why people are offended unless they are in the "if you aren't with Jesus you are the enemy and I have to save your soul" camp.

The question was a little fuzzy.....
However, the "christian camp guys and gals" ACTUALLY are the ones that are not offended. WE REALIZE HOW DECEIVED OR HARDENED THE "OTHERS" ARE.
*So, in reality the athiests dont care about your question, and the true christians only feal that much more compassion for you and others. We (the believers/followers) HAVE ALL BEEN ON THE SIDE OF REASONING/ OR LACK THEIR OF.......AND HAVE CHOSEN TO FOLLOW THE WAY, TRUTH. AND LIFE.
THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE NOW.

Jokes are FUNNY. Using humor to hide the intention to inflict hurt, is not easy to see by the culprit. But the rest of us see it.

I'm not sure u asked a question, but christians with intelligence (as anyone who follows the Lord is Christian period.) know God has a great sense of humor. He created laughing, love, life,- evil is of men. Aetheists are lost in themselves, trust in themselves, and gnostics pray for them to understand God has given them the chance to pursue goodness. I'm not sure there is a satan, but I KNOW with my whole soul there is a God, and I adore him. And just for the record, Jesus didn't say you are my enemy, he said " who is isn't with me is against me." Slight difference. Matthew 12:30
But no - jokes are jokes, it is your actions that speak to God. But I see that you capitalized His name, so u at least respect Him. You may have a chance, for even tho it is apparent you don't believe in Him, He believes in you.

I used to say similair things and I donot take oobjection to it and I am christian and strongly believe In Jesus Christ. There is nothing wrong witha little humor to try and lighten things up. Have a good day.
