I would like to give my cat a christmas stocking any suggestions as to what he might like?

My cats like little plastic balls that have bells, or other noisemakers inside them.

If you crochet, simply take any leftover yarn that you have, make a chain (8 - 12 in long), then single crochet up and down the length of the chain once or twice. Add "tails" of yarn at either end. My cats love to play with these.

Get them some catnip! Or toys filled with catnip. Grow catnip in your yard. Someone gave me some stalks of home-grown catnip, and my cats LOVED it!

My cats also like balls of cellophane, or loosely crumpled paper.

Get a glove (like the ones used to protect hands while dishwashing) that has plastic "bristles" on the palm and fingers, for brushing your cat.

My b/f has one, and we call it The Glove Of Pleasure! :-)) His cat is CRAZY about that thing! :-)) We just show it to her, and she comes on the run!

Merry Christmas, to you, and to your cat! :-))

________

Yes! As msdagney said, we got the cats a battery-powered hamster that rolls across the floor if you pull the string out! Great idea! My cats LOVE it! My Mikey has even learned to hold the hamster, and pull the string himself! :-))

Just give him a big enough stocking to crawl into -- they love that. Maybe put some catnip in the toe. And let him have the wrappings/boxes you don't want. Now *that's* a cat's best christmas!

I usually give my mom's cat catnip filled mice. I once got them a ball with sparkly lights in it and mom's cat really liked that. Browse the aisles at PetCo, there's tons of fun stuff for cats there. Or try the pet aisle at Walmart. Just about anything with catnip in it is going to be fun for a cat.

Cats Love cat nip. They also love scratching posts and the one that lets them climb they love the best. As far as stockings, you can get some small treats from the gocery store as they are usually cheaper than the pet stores. Just get a few different varieties and maybe something they can smell like I mentioned before, the cat nip.

Pet stockings are cool! for a cat put a bunch of small toys, some with catnip, plastic balls to chase, cat snacks, a cool new cat collar, just go wal mart and load up all the cat goodies and your cat will love it, and you to for thinking of the great idea.

I suspect that your cat is spoilt all the time so why not just get it a couple of toys and give a donation to IFAW so that you can be a part of helping other cats, bigger ones, that are not spoilt and in danger of being wiped out.

I have two cats, and I'm not getting them anything. Most likely all they are going to be interested in is all the wrapping paper that's going to be Everywhere. They'll be happy with that. BUT if you actually want to get your cat something go w/ a ball filled with cat nip. My cats love that. God Bless!

One of those little balls with catnip in it. Go to the petstore and look in the cat section. There's not as many cat products as there are dog products, but they exist.
