Your pulse rate can be indicative of several things

too slow-bradycardia, probably needs drug to speed it up

too fast-tachycardia, super ventricular tachycardia, drugs to slow it down or fluid bolus to relieve electrolyte imbalance

irregular-Afib or other arrhythmia

3rd degree heart block
