Maybe when you decide to stop trying so hard to find something and decide to pray to St Anthony, you relax your mind and allow your 'inner mind' to work. Then you operate on 'auto pilot' and find what you are looking for.

Did you know that the word "loose" means to make less tight, to untighten, as in untying(loosening) a knot. I think you meant "lose", which means in this case to misplace.

But that is why you find things after praying to St Anthony - because you become "loose". So loosen up and you will find what you thought you lost, i.e. let go and let God.

Peace.

It's all in your head. The idea of saints is an invention of the Catholic Church. It was invented as another way for the church to make more money. Anyway, the Bible says that you should only pray to God himself.

Maybe it is your angels that help you find it.

Why would anyone pray to a person, and not to G-d?

And, my idea of prayer is not to ask G-d for something, but, to thank him for what he has given.

Try praying to Satan and see if you don't find it anyway.
