How is it that all the Jewish prophet never told the jews about the Trinity.

To start with, when they hear that Jesus was born on Christmas Day (December 25) which in reality was a pagan day for the birth of Mythris, that certainly doesn't help. Scientists have already proved that the star of Bethlehem was seen in September (not December), hence Jesus was born several months earlier. The trinity is God the Father, Jesus (his Son) and the Holy Spirit (the power of God). It says clearly in the Bible that at the beginning there was God and the Word (the Word meaning spokesman, who was actually Jesus) God the Father and Son are a family. God didn't die on the cross, Jesus, the Son of God died on the cross. That is why Jesus said "Father Forgive them as they know not what they do". Jesus had to die on the cross to pave a way for the human race to have a chance at salvation. Previous to that, God's law was if you sin you die and there was no alternative.

Actually no one believes that God has a son except Christians. And if I believed it I would not have found it logical for the son of God to die on the cross like that.

Many Jews knew God had a son, but refused to acknowledge him as such because they were hoping he would arouse the people to break the yoke of their Roman oppressor. When he did not live up to their expectations, they lost faith in him, in spite of the powerful miracles he performed. Some Jews would not acknowledge Jesus because they were afraid they would be expelled from the temple by their religious leaders. Jesus true followers knew that he was God's son and they loyally stuck with him through his trials and tribulations.

They did but they didn't listen to what God said. In Psalms the Son of God is mentioned a number of times. In the Shema, the statement in the Bible that every Jewish person learns in Judaism, "Hear O Israel, the Lord, Our God(s), the Lord is one. That word "one" is the word in Hebrew "Ehad" and it means a plural. It is the same word that is used in Genesis when God said, Adam knew his wife and they became one (Ehad) flesh. Even the first verse in the Bible "In the beginning God..." That word God is in the Plural. It was there, but they just didn't listen like God told them to do. Many Jewish people today recognize that and have become Christians.

Makes you wonder how the Christians came up with such an amazingly different interpretation of the Jewish scripture that was used to compile the bible doesn't it.

As for part 2 of the question. Should we assume that God must be a masochist?

Could be with all that talk about punishment and pain for eternity.

Jews are waiting for a King, they are not waiting for God.

Jesus fulfilled no Hebrew prophecies regardless how many times thumpers tell that lie. The Jesus myth only became popular after Jews were expelled from Jerusalem and it was burned to the ground in 135 CE.

Hard for the Jews to refute those lies when they had no place to gather.

not just the jews, so do the Muslims.

We regard God the supreme being is the most exalted, it is a blasphemy for Him to be associate to hav a son or any absurd idea of trinity.

And of course, for a God , no matter if it is a son, is really illogical and absurd to die.

you should re-think your question, because you are asking a question that is very messed up.

Jesus was the messiah - at that time the Jews were waiting for the messiah, but, they wanted a political messiah...Jesus came as a living sacrifice for all people..and, died on that cross for all of us, that blood Jesus shed was for all our sins to be covered....

please do not confuse yourself by quessing at questions...read something and educate yourself first...

bless u -
