To clarify, I have looked everywhere for this breed in Europe. Brining one from the US in not a real options (long quaranteens etc=. They are not for sale in petshops (thank you for that very insightful response) or available from any of the breeders. Thank you for the two web links, however neither of them list these puppies in Europe as far as I can see.

I'm not very familiar with where this dog is found mostly. I'm going to school in Alabama (USA) and we get tons of catahoula/ catahoula mixes in our shelters. I think international quarantine is like 6 months....so no that wouldn't be a good option. I'll be honest, you might not be able to find one over there. But try going to AKC or UKC dog shows. They normally have an extensive list of breeds present and breeders come to check out each others dogs. Maybe just go to the AKC or UKC websites and sending in a request. This might not help...but it's the best advice that I can offer.

I think your chances of finding a breeder of Louisiana Catahoulas
in Europe is pretty slim. You will have to have one shipped. Otherwise, find a different breed.

We bought 2 cats over from USA to Scotland. Providing they have up to date vaccinations certificates they do not have to go into 6 months quarantine, you can get pet passports which means they are only separated from you for 2 weeks. You might wanna check that option. It is expensive though to bring them over from the US to the UK that I will say, but it will be worth it. Also the dog will need to be electronically tagged too.

Email me if you want details of how to get pets over to the UK.
