God represents the source of life, the source of the meaning for "my" life. Everything else is periferial to that central concept.

What is central to your life? That is your god. If you would not die for it, then life itself is your god. That god is a hollow god indeed.

The problem you refer to is that people project onto their concept of God, all their own values. When these values are threatened by others these others are perceived as enemies of God. The sad truth is that the original texts of their holy books do not support the values but rather, challenge them.

So what happens is that God gets the blame for mans actions, and usually is the first to be sacrificed.

He is and He does. I don't believe all who say they come in Gods Name do actually come in Gods name.I believe and pray that God will intervene one day and put to death all those who kill and lie and lead astray the weak. Many things that we perceive to be good are false images and folks who holler Gods Name are no different. The cave of treasures tells how when Adam and Eve were banished to earth,Satan would come to them in different forms and disguises to lead them astray.pretending to be sent by God. well it's no different today.People will appear to be Godly and are wicked to the bone.j/m/o/

There is no other reason to kill a human being, but he or she is offending God or the law of God, he or she has no reason to live.

That's a good question. Apparently not even His own Son was spared from this faith. We'll find out on the other side. ~_^

would guess because most religious people have the idea that " I know what is right for you because my GOD and way of worship is the only right way. " these people do not respect others free will to worship as they please.
