Do you mean you advise people to go to their GP because of some contraindications to beauty treatments?
Surely it's going to come up in conversation while you're advising them... like "you really should let your doctor have a look at this."

You would refer a client to their GP if you cannot carryout a treatment due to a contraindication but you cannot name the contraindication as you are not medically trained, instead advise them to visit GP as the area looks uncomfortable and it would might be best to have it looked at, or something along those lines!

I am not sure I get this...why would you refer your client to their gp on the basis of contra indications as part of beauty therapy? If they are being referred to their gp then surely it is because you need consent from the gp to perform treatment and they have a contra indication...what are they meant to tell the gp when they get there...my beauty therapist told me to come but I don;t know why???Weird question for your homework...sorry can;t help just dumbfounded.

sounds dodgy to me. surely clients have a right to informed choice, especially about contraindications which could potentially be harmful to them.
