I agree with Sunflower. That is exactly the technique I use to straighten my hair in between visits to the salon. The Matrix products are wonderful. I use the CHI products myself that are specially created for heat styling. Available at salons. I do use Matrix Sleek Look hairspray to finish it off. I live in a humid part of the country it works great at keeping my style from going frizzy.

Start with a straightening shampoo and conditioner , I like Sleek Look by Matrix or Smooth Down by Redken, towel dry hair and apply a smoothing creme, or anti frizz creme. Blow dry hair using fingers til 90% dry then use a paddle brush to help straighten, then apply a flat iron spray to each section to flat iron it, use a professional flat iron, they get hotter and hair stays straighter, finish off with a little hair gloss or spray shine. there are relaxers for all types of hair now too, that chemically straighten hair and reduce frizz.

Option 1: Go to your hair stylist who knows just what to use for your hair type (she/he can even recommend a product for you)
Option 2: Go to a beauty supply store (not a drug store) and ask for something that helps you with your problem.
Note: It is important to get a recommended product for your hair type. Once you purchase a recommended product you can do this at home. However, depending on your hair type you may need to see a professional hair stylist.

well that depends are you white or black? If you are black then you use a perm and the press or roll your hair.
