Yes we are natural predators. Our closest relatives the chimpanzees hunt small deer and monkeys, as well as eat termits and crawlie things.

Our teeth do not have large grinding surfaces typical of pure vegetarians, and our gut is not meant for large capacitites of vegetable matter.

The tools used by early hominids were knives and axes used for butchering - there are bones found with the marks from these tools.

We are omnivores, but meat is an important part of the diet. If we do not have meat we have to take supplements to get certain nutrients.

You can still be at peace wtih animals. Most cultures will give thanks to the animal for providing. In Greek mythology Artemis, goddess of the hunt, killed with special arrows that caused no pain to the animal. She was also the protector of animals.

Not at all.all the living beings have the right to exist in the EARTH and every creature love their life.we don't like to feel pain so do the entire creatures.that's the way we should think.i'm a vegetarian and i think a meatless meal can supply all the nutrients we need.
the primitive people used to kill animals for food ,but humans are omnivorous so that meat isn't the only solution.

We are omnivores...we eat both meat and plants. The first food was meat, until men learned to grow crops. They filled in between hunts with plants, but plants were mainly for herbal medicines until they became agricultural. Meat is very natural to eat.

Humans are omivorous hunters. Eyes on the front of our heads with binocular vision.
That makes us predators.
Granted, in this day and age we eat too much meat, but we need it. There is nothing less healthy than a vegetarian, unless it's a vegan.

Humans lack both the physical characteristics of carnivores and the instinct that drives them to kill animals and devour their raw carcasses. Ask yourself: When you see dead animals on the side of the road, are you tempted to stop for a snack? Does the sight of a dead bird make you salivate? Do you daydream about killing cows with your bare hands and eating them raw? If you answered "no" to all of these questions, congratulations—you're a normal human herbivore—like it or not. Humans were simply not designed to eat meat.

yes eating meat is natural. there was a bumper sticker and button I saw which read " Vegetarian -- Indian word for lousy hunter. " Native Americans and other hunter - gathers always gave thanks to the spirit of the animal for giving its life so the humans could eat. they never took more than needed so are to insure a supply of food.

We have the teeth for it, we have no natural predator, and we have the ability to use power tools. We ARE at the top of the food chain.

Deuteronomy 14:4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.

6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.

Yes, humans are natural predators. Due to our advanced brain capability we have honed our predatory abilities to a high level.

It's natural for humans to eat meat. It has been part of our psyche and formed through millennia of evolution.

If not we would still have a sagitalcrest that promotes the eating of grass and seeds. So, eating meat is perfectly natural.
