i am highly considering focusing on majoring in criminal justice system however i do not want to be stuck studying something and later change my mind.

Anything to do with the defense, People have to pay to stay out of jail the state doesn't have to pay much to put you in. Therefore your money is on the Defense side, whatever you do.

Don't worry about it too much. Study what interests you the most now, and even if it isn't what you want to do later, your grades will be better than if you study something you find dull.
A few people in my law school class majored in criminal justice in college, and went on to practice areas of law unrelated to crimes. Some, like myself, were older students who had worked for a few years and were changing careers. Ex soldiers, ex police, and even one ex rock band drummer...
If criminal justice interests you now, study that. See where the path leads. It could be the path ultimately puts you in the FBI, or a judge's robes, or on television explaining some high profile court case.

Want money? Be a cop. Starting salary for a rookie is in the mid $40s. Their union just got an approval of a 4.5% cost of living increase each year, they can put in all the overtime they want at time-and-a-half pay, their citizen grievances are kindly dismissed by Internal Affairs, ensuring they'll be eventually promoted to sargeant and start making a salary in the low $100s.
At that rate, it isn't so painful to be a pig, is it?
