in japan,most of us study or do club activities.some people go shoppong or do something fun.but i dont think we enjoy our lives than you do.i sometimes go to america for homestay and i scarcely see kids studying.how many hours a day do you study at home?in my HS we have to study more than 3hours a day!(but i always dont do it.)i know its crazy but we have to go to a good university!

I was talking to two kids fromthe high school yesterday and asked them this question. They had a definite plan:
Sat morning - sleep late!
Sat lunch - go to a new pizza place that just opened
sat afternnoon - big football game at the school
sat evening - Senior skit night at HS. they are working on the techie crew doing the lighting for the plays/skits in the theater
sunday morning - sleep later!
sunday noon - study from 1 pm to 5 pm
sunday evening - playing a piano recital Chopin Op 2 #15
sunday after recital -- stop at restaurant
sunday after restaurant - write lab report for AP biology, study for AP Latin IV exam
so there you go! These kids study a lot, but they have many classmates who are idiots and hardly study at all. These kids will probably go to Ivy league schools and the other kids will go to the community college. Its not that different from where you live.
