Or do you thank God for the good and complain to Him about the bad?

Recently I have come to not only accept the bad but to also embrace whatever He sends my way. He knows best.

There is no God! So I feel no need to complain about anything....anything that happens to me is a direct result of something I have done. So i just take the good with the bad and accept that is what life is.

You really have no choice but to accept the bad with the good. It's all a part of life, whether you are a person of faith or not, because nothing is good all of the time. Sometimes I do wonder why certain bad things have to happen, but on an overall scale it seems the good ends up outweighing the bad most of the time. Having a positive outlook on life certainly helps.

We have to accept the bad. Getting beat up at the bar last night because some guy didn't like my pink shirt was just another in a long string of lessons from God.

I'm not "of Faith" but I still accept the bad with the good. Alot of crappy things have happened to me, and I've come to realize that there are quite a few things I just can't possibly have any control over. It's part of life, and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.

I'm somewhere between an agnostic and atheist but sincerely respect those who want to believe in a (loving) God. But I would challenge the assumption that those with deep faith can handle the good with the bad on equal terms. Instead, I think, we who don't believe in a higher power find it easier to accept life on life's terms.

I accept the bad with the good, because it's part of life, and I don't complain to God about the bad, I just ask him for his guidance and strength to make it though those bad times, and I also praise him for those times, because I know that there was reason for those bad times.

we have to have both good and bad experiences to grow and flourish. without the bad there would be no complaints and without the good all would be complaints. like the wheel life is a circle. some times one is at the top then things start going bad then one is at the bottom and just when one starts to think there is no way up then things start turning around for the best again.

I thank God for all things in my life, be them good or bad. With out the bad, how can I appreciate the good?

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Don't we all love the Lord when everything is going good? And curse Him the minute things get ruff?
The wise individual knows that everything in life is for experience and learning. Whatever life throws before our path, only helps
us to rise to greater heights as human and spiritual beings.

I see no bad to accept Deb.

I see all of it as a gift from the source. There is no part of it that can fail to teach us something if we are paying attention.

It is only when we classify it as good and bad that we loose sight of this truth.

Love and blessings
