i own a 1996 nissan maxima automatic n when i start my car it ok but when i put in reverse or in drive it shakes back n forth then when u c the rpm the needle goes to 1.5 to 1.0 then it goes to 0 then it shows 4 lights the brake light, battery light, oil light, n check engine light. n i already had changed my transmission 5 months ago. n when i wait for bout 15 to 30 minutes it is ok 4 the hole day.

also when i went to my mechanic he said that gear 4 incorrect meaning sumthing is telling the car computer that it doesnt no which gear it is in .

These cars have engine wiring harness problems and will set a check engine light. get the engine codes read first knock sensor P0325 will be there ignore it for now. Try wiggling the big harness pull and push on it does the engine die?
