I do not like the taste of bacon that has been microwaved and cooking it on the stove top is so messy, I would like to know a different proven way as my whole family looks forward to their bacon and eggs on the weekend!

Do it cafateria style, place bacon on a cookie sheet, put in oven until crisp. I find it very easy to clean, and no grease splatters.

All I know is that I cut it in half before cooking. You could always bake the bacon in your oven. Use a regular roasting pan and cover it. Cook it on 400 and after 20 minutes turn the bacon over and bake for another 15 or 20 minutes. The only problem is that you have to drain it and blot it as there will be alot of grease.

Line a baking sheet with tin foil (be sure the sheet has raised edges). Put the bacon on it in a single layer. Place in a 350 degree oven, turning the bacon every 7 minutes or so until done. Place bacon on layers of paper towel to drain. Let the grease in the sheet solidify, and then just throw the tin foil away. Enjoy!

The pro's bake it in an oven on parchment @ 350 and a side benefit is that the bacon remains flat. Rotate the sheet pan 1/2 way through the cooking time

Put wax paper on your cookie sheet. Place bacon on top. Stick in preheated 350 degree oven. Bake until crisp. When done, remove the bacon, throw away wax paper. Very easy clean up!

Bake it. 350 degrees til done. Use a rack on a rimmed baking sheet. And you can sprinkle a little sugar on the bacon to bring out the sweetness, or pepper to make it spicy.

WEEKENDS ONLY!!!

1-take the grills off the burners.
2-measure foil paper to over lap the stove & burners.
3-cut a slit ( x-shape ) over the burner area, and tuck foil under the burner opening.
4-replace grills and now you can cook bacon-ALL-WEEK!
5-REPLACE ! foil after and just a quick mop-up for the stove top,and your ready to do it again !!

I'm sorry but if you'll cook it one minute for each slice in microwave it comes out perfect & cover it
