Going to a church is not a neccasity.First if you have a strong belief in what your religion is it shouldn't matter what you are doing on a sunday just take some time out during your day to find a peaceful place to express your thoughts or talk to god.I have known people that just take walks outside to enjoy what god has given us.If you go back in history they never even used a building to give thanks and appreciation to the world we live in.

I dont know if its considered a sin or not, I would think that from what Jesus teaches us that it may saddened him that you do not want to put Him first, then go and exercise( you can do both)the bible tells us this in scripture, According to the Bible, the saints came together on the first day of the week to partake of the Lord's Supper. Christians are to partake of this Lord's Supper every Sunday in remembrance of Jesus until he returns(Acts 20:7) How will you partake of the Lords supper if you do not attend worship service? I pray that this is of help to you.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.
If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.
The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

Jesus want you to accept Him and follow Him, no matter where you are.
Answer this, which is worse....
A person who goes to church every Sunday but does not think about God the other 6 days?
Or..
A person who never goes to church, but who loves Jesus and does His work by feeding the hungry, visiting people in the hospital, and spreading His Word 7 days a week?

Sure it's sinful. But, since I clearly see that I exist, and the wolrd around me is no illusion then why not just live life?
Atheists Vs. Christians have this argument all the time.
Christians can not prove that god or jesus exists, and Atheists have no real desire to prove he didn't, except to irritate the christians and see them get upset. Besides, it makes for fun conversations.
So, since there is no hard evidence that Jesus died for my sins, yadda yadda... Then why should I follow that? All religion has as its proof is when some zealot or follower claims to have felt the spirit.
Will the "spirit" hold up in a court of law as proof? Thanks, but no thanks.
While the religious people sacrifice for their gods, I'll read stories about all the religions of the past that have slowly died away, or even religions of today that are identical to those of the past in many of their precepts. I'll get thumbs down around here (Which just proves that I am upsetting the sky-worshippers) and I'll giggle every time some religious nut evokes the name of a god that doesn't even follow his own inspired book.
Does god do miracles or not? The bible says he can move mountains and cure the sick when asked. But, how many people with aids have had it simply disappear? I mean, he can do anything... that one shouldn't be too hard....
How many thumbs downs can I get?

I suppose it would depend on why they don't go to church on Sunday. If they are Seventh Day Adventists who go to church on Saturday and work out on Sunday, I would think he'd like it a lot. If the person never prays or does anything for others, I think he would object.

Well, since the Sabbath's apparently the last day of the week, and that's Saturday here in America...but in other places it's Sunday...talk about trying to confuse God. :P
Besides, aren't you supposed to worship him everyday anyway?
