It seems pretty obvious that yahoo answers could become a new version of Cliff's Notes. Is this just the nature of life-- getting away with as little work as possible?

I like the idea of the liar's club. Maybe if we all start feeding wrong answers people will start to rely on doing work for themselves. I don't think Yahoo will ever replace Cliff notes. How many people that give answers here actually research them????

I had to take a peek at the category before answering this...

Right now, a total of 2,280 LAZY PEOPLE, as you call them. Oh, maybe less than that since around ten people will be those who are just literally stumped that they now have to ask for help online (lucky them... In my time very long ago, endure getting a fat zero as there is no help to be had anywhere.).

I hope it's just laziness and not shear stupidity...some folks post pretty easy questions, that could probably be found in the table of contents of their books... it's their loss, however, when they don't actually learn anything...isn't that the point of education, personal enrichment, knowledge is power, etc...

It's amusing to see how many people give them wrong answers. Maybe we could start up a liar's club to answer all the homework questions.

You're quite correct. Why bother yourself, if you can get some saddo like me to do it for you. And by 'you', I'm not referring to you personally. I sometimes wonder where the education system is going and why A* exam successes are going through the roof.
Good question!!!
