Tour thyroid controls lots of parts of your body.one is your metabolism. Being tired all the time can be any number of things. thyroid condtions can be something your born with or alot of women develop problems as they get older. I was diagnosed with hypithyroidism a year ago. I'm 39 now . Most women develop them in their late 20' on, as young as you are I would suggest talking to your doc and see what he says. Low iron, poor diet, can make you tired all the time also.
Do you smoke? If so the lack of oxygen can make you feel this way as well as make you pant walking up stairs. There are more symptoms to thyroid conditions than being tired. Unhealthy weight is usually a big factor, unusual menses, dry skin and hair, lack of sex drive and so on... Look up Hypo and Hyper thyroid on the internet and see if you have a few of the symptoms. If so call your doc and a simple blood test will tell. Most thyroid condtions are easily treated so don't worry.

No. If you had thyroid problems, then you would have had other problems like loss of weight inspite of good appetite, feeling hot ans sweaty, palpitations, diarrhoea.
Panting after climbing 5 flights of stairs is normal and physiological. If not all, 75% people will pant at the end.

I would suggest finding a good family doc and having a complete physical. Are there any health issues with the family that are genetic.? This could be sorted out at the doc's office... Also, a visit with a good dietician could be very informative and useful.
We tend to diagnose ourselves when we don't have all the info.
It would be better to have all the medical facts before running in one particular direction . It could be something entirely different.
Please see your doc....

Just because you are a healthy weight does not mean you are healthy. you are lucky enough to have a body that works hard to digest your food, that doesnt make you put on weight. you MUST EAT MORE HEALTHY FOOD.your killing yourself in a way that is not visible to the naked eye. (shaking my head)
