So say your man got drunk...a little too drunk...and he passed out. Then you passed out in your bed right next to him thinkin everything was gonna be all good...now say your other friend was spending the night and slept on this "set up" bed right next to you in the same room...Well lets say your man is soooo F*cked up that he gets up and is almost sleep walking, well he obviously needed to pee, so he just started going in between my bed and my friends. I woke up and was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!", you know...like everyone else would. He wouldn't stop and he was actin all crazy so i lightly slaped him in the face so he'd wake up...he ended up punching me back in the face and even my friend saw it. The next morning he didnt remember it and said it was just cuz he was drunk! Should I except that? Does that count as him hitting me?

I really don't know what the rest of your relationship is like, but has he every hit you before? If the answer is yes, then you should get out of this relationship.

If this was a surprise to you, then I'd let this one go.

The thing is, if he's that drunk that he's going to the bathroom in the bedroom, I honestly believe he doesn't remember doing that or hitting you.

I have seen people go to the bathroom in livingrooms before, and I have tried to stop people doing this, but sometimes people are so far drunk that there is literally nothing that can be done.

The question to ask yourself is, how often are you guys getting this drunk? Maybe he or you are an alcoholic...

Honestly though, if this is the first time he's hit you, I'd let it go--any other time I'd say dumb his ***, but because I have seen this before, and I know people that drunk honestly don't know what they are doing, I'd give him one more chance--

Oh for goodness sake, you hit him first, so you all had a bit to much to drink, big deal. Next time either sort him outr sexually before you start drinking to "Relase the pressure" or invite your friend in but just because he hit you back...well, I think you are becoming a bit of a complainer and whiner, be careful, you could end up alone xx

Your question is uncanny. One day when we were 16 we went to our friends house for a party. We slept in the sun room which adjoins the back yard and this fuc*ktard who thought he was friends with everyone but really wasn't got drunk to the point he was poisoned. He was sleeping outside on the lawn, using the concrete slab of the garden shed as a pillow. He decided he needed to go to the toilet and went in the wrong door. I was sleeping on the floor in the sun room while my mate and his girlfriend were sleeping on a sofa couch thing next to me. For some strange reason I knew that he was going to piss in the sun room. I jumped up with my rug and landed on the sofa couch and callum began pissing all over the computer cords. We were all shouting 'what the fuc*k are you doing, get the fuc*k into the toilet and he was like 'i am in the toilet' really defensively. What happened next was unspeakable. It ruined his friendships with everyone at that party forever more. He went into the bathroom, the toilet was in a seperate room, and proceeded to smudge his own crap down the drain. I still cannot believe that this even happened. What happened next was funny. We moved outside into a big tent which was set up to sleep. I watched the confrontation between callum and the person who's party it was and it went down like this. I could see Callum facing me and lets say his name is Hugo (the person who's party it was) with his back to me. It seemed like the matrix, one second Callum was standing upright, the next he was floating backwards, slammed into the screen door and slid down it like a piece of squashed fruit. Hugo had punched him so hard his jaw broke. Whereupon callum, who we had put up with for months, and gave him 5 second chances for other, less outrageous incidents, tried to act like he was hard done by. He then tried to climb over the garden gate, screaming obscenities at everyone, when I threw a well aimed shoe at the gate, which made it start rocking, and Callum, thudded to the ground, defeated and discraced. Now, in your circumstance, I beleive that your boyfriend punching you was a primal instinct. He got slapped and retaliated without thinking. Although it is gross him pissing on the floor, it is no way as bad as the story I just described. Give him a second chance, but if he does something like this again, do a hugo, and get rid of him

Doesn't matter if he was drunk or not... if he hit you, then it counts as him hitting you! He did it on his own free will. Nobody held a gun to his head and made him do it. If he can't control himself when he drinks, then he has to take control at a different level, and not drink.

This does count because he will continue to get drunk and do this to you. You need to leave because he needs help.

No he was likely sleep walking, and not concious of his actions, plus a real "man" who hits women would likely confess to wanting to do it
