I must create a monologue of the character Rita in the play 'Educating Rita' , any ideas?

Well, she was a Liverpuddlian hairdresser, unhappily married (no kids) who wanted to better herelf by doing an English lit degree through the OU.
She is lippy, outspoken and intelligent in a raw way. She develops a close relationship with her (alcoholic) tutor, played by Michael Caine in the film.

Erm where studying that for GCSE. Well Im not sure what a monlouge is but good luck with whatever your going to do. Ive also heard the book is a gonnd one! Jus to let you know!
