I still think that Pride is fantastic value. She has beaten Hurricane Run before and ran a very eyecatching race last time out behind Hurricane Run and Shirroco.

I rather fancied Pride at 19/1 in the US. She's a classy mare. Though I don't know what Hurricane Run's jock was thinking he was stuck in behind most of the running and closed too little too late. An outside run for this one and the result may have been different.

Well, the next big one should be the Melbourne Cup and thereafter the Breeders.

shirocco was fourth in this race last year and has improved so coud be a safe bet try a each way bet on sixties icon to hedge your bet good luck
