You should clean your history, delete unwanted files, etc. Usually when some program stops working or responding, there's to many programs running in start up. Go to-run-type in msconfig in the box-ok-go to start up and uncheck things in there that you don't use or want or need running at start up-apply and ok-will ask you if you want to restart now or later, do restart now. when pc restarts, open and try your program again. Last but not least, if that doesn't work, then I recommend you go to start-all programs-accessories-sytstem tools-system restore. Check restore my pc to an earlier time. You'll then see a calendar-go to a bold date when you know your nero was working right for you. It will restart for you. If this doesn't work then i suggest you uninstall and reinstall the cd. After the uninstall make sure you delete all neros files that may have been after uninstall. If you don't check to make sure files were left - program files, all programs, desk top and regedit (only if you know how- Don't touch regedit if you're not familiar with it), then when you reinstall messed up files will apply again. Trust me.. after you've deleted all nero files and folders-restart and install the cd. I guarantee it will work. I hope this all makes sense to you. Good Luck!

The latest version of Nero is one of the best programs around. If you don't know what to do just force yourself to do some reading of the manual or on the help of the program.

Email Nero and ask why it changed - they update software over the net these days and not always make it better. You can get a freeware slide show program. I've used it. I think it was snapfiles I got it from - or download.com See what they have anyway! Look at my site while your browsers running! LOL
