For Catholics:
* Lent begins 40 days before Easter. In 2007, Lent begins on the 21st of February and ends on the 7th of April, the day before Easter.
* Favourite book would be the Book of Daniel.
* If you're talking "holiday" as in days off from work, the only thing coming up is Christmas. If you're talking celebrations:
All Saints Day (Nov. 1, 2006)
Here is a link for Christian holidays:

In 2007, Ash Wednesday is February 21. It's different every year and not always in February.
My favorite book is the Letter of James.
Holydays depends on which denomination you are. For Lutherans, there's Reformation Sunday on October 29th. For Catholics, All Saints Day on November 1, All Souls on the 2nd (Or lesser feasts, such as the Feast of St. Francis of Assissi on October 4, I believe).
And it's not just Christians who have holy days. The Jewish Yom Kippur and Sukkot are coming up this month. Muslims are in the middle of Ramadan. Be specific! (or more open minded)
