I freeze the bread and only thaw 1 loaf at a time. I take a loaf out of the freezer when the one in the bread box is about 3/4 gone. do not thaw the bread in the breadbox. leave it on the counter until it es completely thawed and dry off wrapper before putting in the breadbox

I shop on Fridays...so over the weekend I use the bread...then freeze the rest, and when I need to make sandwiches for lunch during the week for my family... I use the frozen bread ...'cause it will thaw before it is eaten at lunch time..

Try freezing the loaf and only thawing out what you need. I don't eat bread but a do run a very successful restaurant and we freeze all the that we do not use quickly.

Keep it in the refrigerator. You could freeze it also, and bring out as many slices as you want at one time, or put it in the toaster.
