heyy, I got a new digital camera, it's a Vivitar ViviCam 5150s, everythings fine with it, except, when I put it on the computer this is wot I do: start - my computer - removable disc E - DCIM - nd then i renamed the folder there: main picz on cam
my question is: after I put them on the computer, they're deleted off my camera, nd i actually want them on my camera too!

I made up a different folder with all the pics, nd i copied the pics in the DCIM - picz on cam but it still doesnt work!!
pls help!!!

If you've renamed the folder on the camera (the one on "removable disc E" on your computer), your camera can't see that folder anymore, which is why they're not showing up. What you need to do is rename the folder to its original name, and move your digital camera pictures into there. If you can't remember the name, don't worry:

Take a picture on your camera, connect your camera up to the computer, and open removable drive E:. A new folder will have been made with the picture you just took in it. Move your digital camera pictures to this folder, disconnect from the computer, look at your camera... and they should all be there.

Open the folder on the camera containing the pictures. Control A to select ALL. R Click/copy. then R click/paste to your new folder. But why keep them in the camera as well, you'll run out of space.

Ok start by changing the disk E: folder back to its original name with your cam plugged in to the computer. OK now 1.take you photo's 2.plug camera in 3.goto E: drive to folder with photos 4:goto edit and select all 5.once they are all highlited put you arrow on them and right click your mouse 6. goto sendto then pick my documents 7. your photos have just transfered to my documents without deleting your photos from your camera.

There is normally a setting on your computer that asks if you want to delete the pictures off the camera after downloading them. It is in one of the wizards, if you look in help it may get you started....I thought that it was my camera at first but a friend helped me out too... good luck.
