Windows Vista won't detect my speakers. How do I fix this? I am running a Dell Lap top 32 bit.

You don't have drivers for Windows Vista which support "audio".
Try logging to the Sound-card manufacturer's website, then search for "windows vista" supporting drivers. It may help, but if your card is not compatible with Vista, then it won't help. Call Dell customer care for more help, if it doesn't support. Search for Driver on Google too.

Windows vista is still not released officially. The launch of Windows Vista is in January 2007. The beta version of Vista still has bugs in it.

I assume that you have tried installing the sound drivers. If it is still not working then the only way I think is install Windows XP Service pack 2.

delete the old driver or disable windows driver and install the device driver

I prefer XP Professional. Try to install drivers for your soundboard.......

contact your dealer and the problem might be that the drivers are not installed on it
