I have a friend who quit morphine recently and I want to know how long these effects will last. And when they will start to fade. The cravings, twitches, flashbacks (well i dont know what else to call that but she feels high again)

It depends how long she was on it,But the usual with drawel time is 5-7 days,But by the 5th.Day she will have gone threw the worst part and she will just be going up Hill from tHere,Tell Her i said Stay strong,she,s almost there and I will pray for her!Good Luck dear,Hollywood

Well I just had knee replacement about 2.5 weeks ago. Was on morphine for about 5 years prior to this. Doctor changed prescription and I went through withdrawl for about a week.

Hi,,, hmm,,,, i had a broken leg years ago,,,, and they kept me shot up ,,,, everytime i even made a peep,,,
When i went home,, they didnt give me a prescription for a asprin,, and i thought i was going to die,,,,
I dont know if it was the lack of the morphine or the pain,,, but it took me about 2 weeks to settle down,,, I dont wish that on anyone,,,,
