Here is a nice unusual one:

Normally, though, you would simply take button mushrooms, wipe them, dip them in a little beaten egg, then in seasoned breadcrumbs (preferably home-made, rather than the ghastly yellow ones you can buy), and fry (better deep fried, since they are more even) or bake in a little oil.

BREADCRUMBS
The best way to make fresh breadcrumbs is to use stale (but not dried out) bread and whiz it in a food processor until crumbly. A rolling pin would mash the bread flat. The crumbs should still be moist and light. It's important to use stale bread - leaving a few slices out to air dry for a couple of hours works tolerably well. You can incorporate seasonings (salt, pepper, crushed garlic, a little cumin or coriander or dried herbs) when you blitz them in the processor.

On the other hand, dried breadcrumbs are made from bread that has been toasted or baked slowly to remove all moisture, then processed to make fine, sand-like crumbs.

Not sure what you are looking for but here goes...

1 pound mushrooms (i prefer crimimis, but white will do)
6 eggs, well beaten
1 tbsp cream (or milk) to thin eggs
1 pound of your favorite bread crumbs
1 pound all purpose flour

Clean off mushroom with soft brush or paper towel. DO NOT WASH. Place each dry ingredient into a seperate bowl. place beaten eggs and cream into another bowl.

Place cleaned mushrooms into egg mixture and then into flour.

Shake off excess flour and place mushrooms back into egg mixture, making sure to completely coat with eggs.

Place mushrooms into bread crumb mixture, making sure to completely coat mushroom.

At this point you may either place them into a 350 degree deep fryer or place them on a sheet tray and freeze them for a short time. if you freeze them be careful when you place them onto the fryer since the water in the shrooms may cause the fryer to overflow. DO NOT OVERFILL YOUR FRYER
