I was almost hit in face on Thursday by a fast flying Dragon Fly while in the middle of a large car showroom. Not sure who was more surprised, me or the DF?

while working 3rd shift at walmart ( i'm a cashier)
I was walking in the sleepy slow part of the night,
past the curtesy desk.
I thought I saw a mouse running away from the desk,
untill it lifted up into the air and flew off
After I was done screaming I realized it was a large dragonfly.

Once when I worked in a care home I found a dead one inside the wall light cover, it was huge, about four inches long and had been burnt to a crisp. I got the handy man to remove it cos I didn't want to touch it and he then chased me round the building with it! Eurgh!

Dragon Flies are strong, fast fliers and can travel long distances as long as they have water or at least a moist habitat to lay their eggs they can live almost anywhere.
