What type of cancer has afflicted this colleague? Is it in primary stage or has it gone to the secondary stage? Well sending a heart warming message alone will not do? Is he bedriiden?
Would you please ask him to join Yoga classes?. There are certain yogas which would help a lot. These Yogas have to be done in the open space.
To begin with I would suggest that he goes to park nearby to his place in the morning when the dew is fresh. He must walk barefoot foir five minutes to begin with. This will help his blood circulation and disable the cancer cells to grow further. He must increase the walking time to 30 minutes in a gradual manner.
Ask him to sit on the grass facing east when the sun rises. With the little finger on the left nostril and the thumb on the rigfht nostril, he must hold the nose. Take off the little finger and breath in slowly and close the nostril. Hold the breath for a few seconds. Let out the breath from the right nostril. Now do the same way from the other side.
Why should he do this? When he does the breathing exercise, he inhales a lot of oxygen into the lungs where the blood gets puried with the oxygen. This in turn helps in proper blood circulation which would deter the growth of the cancer cells.

Send him a message of loving concern and unstinting support, and a gift copy of How To Prevent And Treat Cancer With Natural Medicine by Mike Murray (approved by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America). Or Pat Quillen's Beating Cancer With Nutrition. Both books are a must-read for any one with cancer.
Good luck!

That very much depends on the type of cancer, and the individual. They may not want it banded around.
Good luck would be about as far as I would take it.

There is a gospel song called , "wish you were here". Give it a listen . I had a friend who died of cancer & when they played that song , it was life changing as far as my belief structure & whole attitude towards death. Let me know what you think ,K ?
