He's going to destroy the whole world, killing all life, and then torture, for All Eternity, most the sentient beings on Earth. Is this something I should accept as Normal and Decent, or is God a psychopath that we should work to stop?

If He really gets off on torture, torment, and causing pain, what kind of total malcontent would worship this obviously Evil being?

Would I be wrong to say that religions that worship Him are Evil Death Cults? How does any of His actions and the fate of the world prove me wrong in this assumption?

Let's think this through. God and Satan are "enemies". Life is a "test". God devised the test, but Satan is the enforcer of the punishment for those who fail the test. Sounds like cooperation to me. (or possible "extraordinary rendition")

Try it another way. God is the parent, who's always away at work. You're the kid. Satan is a corrupt beat cop in the neighborhood. The pastor is your older brother, who tells you if you don't do what he says, he's gonna tell Dad and Dad is gonna call the cop who will teach you a lesson you won't forget.

Which scenario is more believable?

I've said it once and I'll say it again. If Hell exists, God is Evil.

But most likely neither exist.

Oh yeah, someone up there compared getting fired because you show up drunk to getting sent to Hell for not being Christian.

Hmmm, let me see, make one simple rational choice in life and the "just" punishment for that is ETERNAL TORTURE??????

oh yes, the X-ian god is most certainly evil. Maybe some sort of god does exist, let's hope it isn't theirs!

First of all don't assume that the world is the center of the universe, it's actually smaller than a virus in relation to the whole. The "God" you're referring to who talks to men is not the God of creation, I don't care what name you think you know him by. And he himself is actually as subject to the supreme God as you and I are. God does not "talk" to any man, his voice is the silence of love and is far beyond any need for any language, nor does he write books, men write books. His laws are written in your being and they do not require any "religion" to validate them. God will not destroy the earth or it's inhabitants, we ourselves will destroy civilization (fairly soon) on our own, ironically in the name of some "religion" or other, and those who pass into the next life (dimension) with innocent blood on their hands have condemned themselves to an existence in a place more horrid than any living being can even imagine. The God you've been taught about is more than likely one of the thousands of spiritual entities that interact with mankind for their own personal reasons, usually race based, and have interracial violence as one of their most prominent features. The God of creation has no need to intervene in our affairs, we are free to do as we will, and any violation of the natural order is itself part of the natural order. Therein do we decide for ourselves how we will interact with the countless spirits who have inhabited this planet (and all others) for all times, and have moved to the next level. The "hell" of christianity does exist, it's called different names by different religions and different peoples, and it's a place of separation dividing those who love from those who did not. The substance of the highest God is simply infinite love, and in love there can be no hatred. Ultimately we judge ourselves by the decisions we make here.

It seems that god creature is so vain and vindictive that if you do not stroke it's ego by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner, it tortures you for eternity in everlasting fire. Now that sounds like a highly disturbed creature that is hardly worthy of worship or respect.

Ok first of all he will not destroy the Earth the people on Earth will destroy it, Secondly everyone will be give a chance to accept Jesus Christ as thier savior before the end. Those who still refuse to believe he is the christ and savior, as it says in the ible "That it only through him that we may reach the Father." Will then be left to have the revenge upon them. I think that answers your question. Upon most dieing peoples death bed they are begging for mercy and G-d shows them Mercy as our G-d is a merciful G-d.

God has created life on Earth millions of years ago and has moved on!! He is busy creating life elsewhere and hoping they don't kill themselves and treat each other with respect, not like here. He doesn't care what happens here anymore. Has better fish to fry.

The Cathars a few centuries ago believed there was a good and a bad god. Then the Catholics wiped them all out.

God is going to cast Satan into hell for eternity for what he has caused in this world. You have a choice to accept the way out through Jesus or go the dark one.

God will honor your choice. Without freedom of choice you are more like a pet than a person.

Satan wants you to forget about him and blame God.

God is Love.

He is not going to allow the evil much longer.

He is coming to claim his church very soon and mankind is going to destroy itself. Don't stick around for what is coming. Jesus will save you from the great tribulation about to rip this planet apart.

My dear,
God and Evil are 2 diff characters, God has given u mind 2 think and judge wats right and wats wrong bt still we human tend to do mistakes and sins,so we'll b judge on our own deeds.good for good n bad for bad. GOD has to show that he is the creator and he has the ability to destroy anything.he is the one who can do everything.
he is the one who created Evil to know how human respect n obey his orders in this Evil world. the one who passes through his tests will be rewarded n those who fails will b punished.
its very difficult for humans to understand what he does but we can't judge his behavior,he's our creator. We have to respect him anyways.

I have good news and I have bad news.

The good news first, God does not exist. We are under no threat from the imaginary Deity.

Now for the bad news, people are delusional and will act out in the name of their God. They will kill, steal, lie, cheat, and rape, all within the confines of their God. Their God makes it easy for them to forgive themselves.
