Starvation diet bad for whole body.
Lose muscle, bone and other important things.
Best way to reduce weight is not eat fatty foods, drink lots of water and get your body moving.
Don't use elevator take the steps. Park far from door at mall and walk. If you don't have dog offer to walk one for neighbor.
Avoid foods fried in fat and eat your fruit and vegetables. That feeds the body so it doesn't go into panic mode and try to save every calorie as fat.
good luck

Only in the short term. The body has very well-developed survival behaviours that kick in at a primitive level, that mean over the longer term, starvation dieting and rapid weight loss is actually counter productive.
When you fail to eat when your body is telling you it needs fuel - i.e. you are feeling hungry - your body goes into starvation mode, turning up the volume on those hunger pangs until you eat something, whilst at the same time slowing the metabolism.
When you do eat under these conditions, the metabilism is running slow, so more of what you eat is stored as fat, rather than being turned into energy.
If you need to lose weight. aim to lose about 2lb per week.

Oh my God! Don't do that!!!! It will ruin you.
All diets are dangerous, but the ones that consist out of not eating are the worst. The thing is, if you stop eating you will definitely lose weight, but please understand this is not a permanent state. You lose weight, and then, at the first normal (not big, just normal, regular meal) it comes back on, and even more.
But this is nothing compared to what starvation does to your body. When you stop eating, your body stops getting the substances it needs (proteins, vitamins, etc) and you start feeling weak, and you start having deficiencies in your organism. Your muscles lose strength and elasticity, your bones stop growing and are attacked by deseases, you start having vitamin shortages, and you get sensitive and sick. Please, just stick to normal eating, and if you really wanna lose weight, do some sports. Screw starvation, man. Your health comes first. Just think if it's really worth it to ruin your body.

Nope. It forces the metabolism to slow down (part of the body's protective mechanism). You'll lose the first 10lbs fast, then it'll get harder and harder to lose anything. You'll also feel more and more tired. It's also bad because you're not getting nutrition, so you'll feel crappy and get sick easily. Once you stop the starvation diet, your calorie intake goes up but your metabolism is still in "starve" mode for awhile... so those pounds come right back on.

No.
In order to lose weight you need to have a high metabolism rate.
By starving yourself, your body will naturally lower its metabolism (survival mechanism). So you will have less energy yet same weight and endangering youself to health risks.
To increase your metabolism, do cardio + a little bit of weight lifting.
Cardio increase heart rate which will demand more energy from your body and th best source of energy is fat.
Weight lifting helps reshape your body and increase metabolism.
Adding more fruits and vegetables to your diet is essential for a healthier & slimmer body.
Try and keep away from saturated fats.

no starvation decrease the fat in the body as we don't have the same mechanism as other animals like camels have. starvation dieting may cause ill-health and many diseases and can also lead to dehydration causing severe headache and of couse stomach ache due to craving of food. u need to do dieting such that u eat light and not heavy and junk food. eat less cheese and butter and reduce fat slowly and gradually instead of just starving.

no,it is not.your metabolism will slow down, rather, destroy.all your
body systems need adequate nutrition to function well and for
you to stay healthy.you'll lose weight, mass,as well as health.
you fallill due to germs in the air, water or anywhere else. your bodyneeds nutritions from food to fight against those.with so much of those germs in the air, starving urself even 4 a week can
cause disastrous results.many minor deficiency diseases like redness of tounge, bleeding gums, dandruff, falling and greying of hair, defective vision etc.may occur on the depending upon the period of time u go on this sort of diet.u can excercise and go for
a high-nutrition,low-fat diet.it is the best option.

This method of losing weight is absolutely useless. Sure, you'll drop pounds, but you'll also lose muscle mass, and as soon as you start eating again, you will gain more weight back than you started with, and much quicker as well.
Don't take this approach. It's just plain wrong. Just exercise and eat a proper meal and you will do fine.
