heard a story about navy men on ships that would be out at sea for so long.they would take a quarter and a spoon and tap on the quarters edge while turning it ,some how they would make a ring out of a quarter,looking for pictures or would like to buy one

I know exactly what you are talking about! My adopted father had one that he gave to me that I wore for years! He was in the navy, too. I guess you can do something like that if you are bored out of your mind. I've since lost the ring, otherwise, I would send a picture to you.

make your own but instead of a spoon use a small hammer & tap gentle we usaed to do it with a florin in uk the writing folds inside
