Does jogging just tone your legs, or lose fat around your stomache too?

Oh, yes, jogging really tones the stomach. Your stomach muscles are working to keep the body upright while you are jogging. Trust me on this...my honey has been a runner for nearly twenty years now (since junior high) and has the flattest stomach I have ever seen, and he doesn't do any form of sit-up or crunch. He runs only three times a week for thirty minutes (sometimes a bit longer), using one day to work on some speed (some sprints) and the other two for straight running. He has a 30" waist.

Jogging is almost always a good thing- to answer though, it is toning + very little lose of belly flab....age?

Swimming and weight training with light wights and plenty of repetition. Consider jumping rope just like boxers.
