i find that asda and tescos are both excellent for non food items,they usually have video players and dvd players for around 20.00

Try ASDA they do loadsa cheap stuff I bought a video a DVD player and TV (portable) for less than £100 all works well !!

Amazon UK do a well specified DVD player for £17. otherwise many supermarkets sell sub-£25 models.
