hi, i have been asked out for a date and out of my shyness replied that we will fix time when u are not busy.. how is this interpreted by guys.. would he interpret as she is not interested or whether she is hard to get.. i want to go out with him, but dont know how to accept the invite without sounding desperate. appreciate advise

You're so anxious not to sound desperate, that you just nudged him away.
He worked up the courage to ask you, and now if you want to salvage the situation, you have to go to him and remind him that you have a pending date, but never fixed the details, so can you work that out now?

gong your gone that is a no unless you didn't specify a exact time . try asking her like this
xxxix would you like to accompany me to the movies on (name date and time) and then maybe to the movies after wards ,
you will know exactly what her answer is then
