What are the best possible ski areas for early fall skiing in North America (including in Canada?) Can you please describe whether your answer is based on personal experience or what you've heard.

Of these ski resorts you list, does anyone know which are in the closest proximity to major airports?
Also what are the most economical ski areas for early fall skiing (and late-season as well)?

Whistler Ski Resort In Vancouver, BC is open as early as Nov 23. I lived in Washington for 10 years and i can't remember of any ski resorts open that early. Can say the same about Idaho, Sun Valley up north opens in January and they get a lot of snow.

Northern California is about to get snow above 7000 ft in the next few days. The upper lifts at Heavenly may be working. They're in Nevada, actually. Go to http://www.skiheavenly.com

you opt for them to do it? Why? Ya kno, me and my kin stay contained in the US, and so do all my chum, so with any luck not in any respect. Why would you ask this? If there became a nuclear warfare, we would all die, each man or woman. no longer only the US, or North Korea. each man or woman. So reassess what you'll ask.
