I have used loads of e and coke and drink a lot but I have not taken e for a year. Anyway a year ago I got a headache which stopped me taking e but it never went away altogether. I used to be able to feel my jaw clench too. The symptoms seem to be getting better but I am worried it might be something more serious. I have an occasional eye twitch and sometimes a finger on my right hand moves. I am 22 and not going to take anything else and cut down alcohol. Worried it might be MS?

Not MS. You have Neuropathy from drugs and alcohol. You need to stop all alcohol totally, as well as all drugs.

You will have symptoms for quite a while, until your body recovers. Take a good vitamin B complex, especially B1 (thiamine). A mild tranquilizer might be helpful for you about the twitches (valium) .

Eat well, and get rest and exercise. be prepared to have creepy feelings in your skin and nerves for several months, until your nerve damage can heal.

some drugs leave deposits in organs like your liver, in a crystal like form, these can re enter the blood stream at anytime and cause problems,

Have to taken coke? This can cause mini siezures that can be similar to what your descibing (called partial siezuires, not the ones you see on the tv) but should be short term and solveable. this sound like what your descibing to me, so get to the hospital, but what ever you do, don't drive!

Head ache and twitching how ever, can be related and i wouldn't worry about MS, doesn't sound like that, but I would get checked out asap.

go to your local emergency department (get a lift or taxi) if the twitching is severe or acute today, or go and see your Doc asap, you may well need a scan or some blood tests.

Get some proper advice, don't take the word of a paramedic on an early shift after 3 hours sleep who can't focus well at the moment. Don't call an ambulance, cos if I have to get up, I might fall over.

You are experiencing the response of a neurological inflammatory process.. You will also (should be) aware of considerable tenderness at the base of the skull, particularly on one side. If you press hard enough you will have an immediate response of the symptoms, as you outlined. If such is determined, you will have other symptoms you have not mentioned. Relating to the ear and possibly into the digestive tract as well. Even your balance may be affected.

Could be a magnesium deficiency which is common in drinkers. Take a good multiple vitamin-mineral daily, and a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill with each meal. That should be helpful for both twitch and headaches.
I know you are not in a hurry, but drugs and booze are slow (and sometimes express speed) suicide. Take care of yourself. You are a child of the Universe.
Remember: your choices will create, or destroy, your life. Good luck and God bless!

You may have Glaucoma in your left eye. Go see an eye specialist. I suffered such headaches & just rested, hoping it may be gone after a while. But when the ache was so unbearable, I went to a doctor & found out my eye pressures are extremely high, coz' my optic nerves had been damaged already. Lucky though, he prescribed special eye drops to lower those pressures. But continuing, ignoring the pains may lead to BLINDNESS. Pls don't ignore those pains you feel, check it out from a doctor. Let us know if you're fine, soon.

sweetie, im glad you stopped the e...hope you stopped the coke too. e is not something to mess with...it does serious damage to your spine when used in excess...sounds like you have some nerve damage...i would definitely talk to a doctor to make sure it isnt worse than that tho....any kind of chemical drug can leave serious permanent damage..my ex used to snort crank, and has a hole through his nose that will always be there...good luck

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

You will obviously have a certain amount of brain damage from using coke and alcohol as each drink kills brain cells.
Go to your doctor.

For the past 3 years I have suffered daily with neuropathy. Well it’s been just 1 week and I just cannot put into words how brilliant my results have been. I have absolutely no more hyper sensitivity and no more agonizing burning pains. I can’t explain it, but this thing works. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your secret with me.

I am concerned about your headache, please see a GP about that. As for the eye and finger twiches they are quite normal. Everyone gets them from time to time and it is more common when you are tired, stressed or run down. Hope you get better soon.
