Some people have a hard time grasping what it would be like. I have heard some people say darkness but that is incorrect. Did you know that people born blind do not see darkness.. Sight does not exist for them. People born deaf probably do not hear nothing, hearing does not exist for them either.

The brain has very similar structures for sight, hearing, touch, taste. There have been experiments done where portions of the sensory data were replaced with other portions (Neurons normally used for hearing were placed in sight and it worked).

Here is what I think it is like:
Without these portions of the brain we would no longer experience such senses, even remember them. As with senses we can also lose our self-awareness. Once our brain ceases to function we no longer exist. There is nothing, not even the concept of nothing.

The matter of existence and non-existence is not that simple.
There are things which exist with our perception, and things exist without our perception. The sun exists despite the non-perception of the blind. The phantom doesn't exist despite all descriptions by supersticious brains. The existence of the One True God is the most manifest reality, but we need millennia of learning to conceive His glory. Otherwise He is no longer the Supreme God.
Darkness is non-existent since it has no power to remove light, while light can remove it.
In the world of physical existence, the lower forms are considered as non-existent. Comparing to the vegetable, the mineral is non-existent; to the animal, vegetable non-existent; to human, animal non-existent.
In the world of spiritual existence, the same principle is true. For the last 6.000 years, human beings have not got much learning about this matter; from now on we are going to gain new knowledge from the Messenger of God for our global time.
Please, know that we know nothing from the phenomena to the essence of the smallest elemental particle or the immense universe, so let us seek for more learning from the True Educator from God.

everything that exists always exists it is just on a different plane or in a different form i.e. from nothing comes nothing if we exist now we will always exist. Its just a matter of where we are... heaven or hell. Accept Jesus as you savior, believe that he died for you and that God raised him from the dead and you can be sure that you will go to heaven.

Losing conscious self-awareness is not "non-existence," the human body continues to exist. After losing conscious self-awareness (dying), our bodies decompose and evolve into other life forms.

At no time do we cease to exist.

sorry to say this, but this is a stupid question.

non-existance does not feel like anything... it does not feel at all... because there is nothing there to feel.

it does not even feel like anything to you, because there is nothing there to be felt.

there is no condition of non-existence either, because there is nothing there to be in any kind of condition.

even the word is silly. non-existance is NOT the opposite of existence... it is its absence. and without existance, how can there be a concept? there simply is nothing. not even the feeling that something is missing.

Non-existence is like your awareness of your senses about why we keep on living the way we live our life in somebody else presence.

The devil will always convince you that he doesn't exist and that would be non-existence.

I think it will be like before you were born. Just nothing, because once the brains dead and no consciousness that's it. We wont know anything about it anyway.

If the opposite of non-existence is existence, then we don't have much of a foundation in reality anyway. If I am I because you are you and if you are you because I am I, then I am not I and you are not you.
We're an indescribable "one".

Non-existance would lack any sensation, so even those going through it wouldn't know, duh!!!1!!!
