to clarify what I mean...

what if one day, there was some catostrophic event, and suddenly metaphysical and magical things suddently were manifested. I mean (hypothetically) demons and various things being physically there, some people able to make fireballs and whatnot, (yes, like in tv/movies)

active sorcery and such, both holy and unholy, and all sorts of that kinda thing out in the open, and undeniably real.

what would you do? how would you react? what if you found yourself having some form of "supernatural" ability that you might not have even belived in existing before, or would have declared as being evil, (and are not of such an inclination that you'd get it if it were evil)

just indulge the hypothetical what if here... "that could never really happen" is irrelevant. this is imaginary "what if".

How else? I would instinctively know how to use my abilities to overcome all obstacles, because I would have consciously and unconsciously prepared for this time.Just like you are doing right now.

For the sake of self-preservation, I would go to ground and hide until I could have time to figure out what the new rules are. So many permutations not only of how this magic (or whatever) would work but also of how people around me might react.

Maybe a good analogy would be to imagine giving boatloads of modern technology (with manuals) to a bunch of primitives from 1000 years ago. Some get grenades, some rifles, some nukes, some communications gear. Imagine the chaos.
