Ask her why she wants one... and then after listening to her tell her that if she thinks its best, then she should do it. Let her reasons be the reasons why, not yours.

Answer by turning the question back on her. Ask if she wants one? What are the benefits, cosmetic only, or functional as well (breathing easier)? What are the risks? Judge her answers, and see if you think that it's what she wants...(I say she obviously does CZ she asked for advice/approval). Tell her that she should if she wants to, that from her answers you think she would feel more confident in herself...etc. Just back her up, and tell her that it acceptable. (Give her the permission she is seeking (likely she is seeking it from a variety of people)).

just say......if that is what you want, then go for it. If she is asking if you think her nose is big.....tell her that I think your nose is fine, and if she is uncomfortable with the size of it then have the procedure.......however if she is a good friend then you can tell her that you think it would make her face more proportionate and defiantly look better......but no matter how close you are to her....make sure you tell her to get several opinions and see several doctors and interview them before making a decision. we dont need another Micheal Jackson walking around

The polite answer is *not* to tell her she has the snout of an anteater. :-)

I hate to lie outright. Maybe change the subject a little to divert her attention?

Tell her that although you think she is a beautiful person already, but if she wants to tweak her look a little, for her own self-pride, to go ahead and do it.

be honest with her first of all..she is asking you for a reason..maybe she is not looking and fishing for empty compliments..maybe she just respects your opinion and wants a straight answer so give her one..don;t beat around the bushes.
