an international lottery represented by the coca-cola company. the first drawing was held sept. 4, 2006. my e-mail was chosen as a lucky winner. how do i know if this is legitimate?

it wasnt. any e-mail sent to you offering you money is gonna be a fake.
there are several ways to check, look at the e-mail address it was sent from, try replying (dont send a message, just click reply) and check the e-mail address you are sending to. if the e-mail adress isnt in the format of (name)@(company name).(com / co.(country))
then its dodgy, eg fred.bloggs@coca-cola.com might just be right but fred.bloggs@coca-cola.com.fghg.lkk is a fake

That is not being done by The Coca-Cola Company. It is a total fraud to drain your bank account. Do not respond !!

Hi dear
this is all rubbish........i m receiving once a month...somtime twice a month from different organization.you know what happen at the end........they asked for some money from you to do some work to transfer the amount to you and i think thats rubbish. If they r intrusted to gave you a millions of money, y not they pay ???

I got one too, but haven't checked up on it. I think its fake, try contacting Coca Cola directly & see if they sponsered
