We believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, born to the Virgin Mary *peace be upon them*. He will return in the End times as the promised one to slay the anti-Christ and establish the kingdom of God on Earth and will unite all people.
We do not believe he was crucified on the cross, but was lifted to heaven before the Romans could arrest him. Another was made to look like him and he was crucified instead (generall y thought to be Judas).
Jesus will intercede for the Christians before God on the Day of Judgment (as all prophets will do on behalf of their respective nations).

Thank you for this question.
As a Muslim I honor Jesus (as) as one of the most revered prophets of God. In the Quran he is called "ruh Allah" which means the spirit of God. I believe he was born of a virgin birth to Mary (aw) who recieved the message of Jesus's (aw) coming from the angel Gabriel.
Next to Muhammad (saw) I believe Jesus (as) is the most important prophet and that he will return to Earth at the end of time to defeat the evil, what westerners call "antichrist".
And Allah knows best.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

Muslims believe in jesus but also believe that bible is altered. But in islam it rather impossible to understand Quran and act on orders without Hadis. The hadis were written long after the demise of sohabas. There is doubt here too that hadis are altered or misquoted. So it is the same with islam.

Muslims respect and venerate Jesus Christ. They consider him to be one of God's greatest messengers to humankind. The Qur'an re-affirms his miraculous birth and his miraculous abilities. Furthermore, his mother Mary is regarded as one of the most pure and exalted women of all creation. As the Qur'an says:
"Behold! the angel said: 'God has chosen you and purified you and has chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary! God gives you the good news of a word from Him, whose name shall be Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the hereafter, and one of those brought near to God" (3:42).
Islam regards its teachings to be a re-affirmation and culmination of the teachings of previous monotheistic religions like Judaism and Christianity. Hence, all Muslims believe in Moses and Jesus as Prophets of God. Prophet Muhammad was commanded to recite in the Qur'an:
"Say, we believe in God
and that which was revealed unto us,
and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael
and Isaac and Jacob, and the tribes
and that which was entrusted unto Moses and Jesus
and the Prophets from their Lord
We make no distinction between any of them
and unto Him we have submitted" (3:84).
