Well, we met up for drinks and live music middle of last week. He had actually given me a choice of activities to do on our "date" and even offered to cook for me. After the evening he walked me home (linked arms!) and stayed till about 3am. Nothing happened we just talked, listened to music etc. I wasn't feeling great, too much alcohol on an empty stomach and he was very sweet about it. Texted him the next day to say thank you - he replied within 10 mins and since then nothing. I am not really expecting anything till next week, but a little advice on whether you think he is interested would be good and when to expect a text or a next date. Shld i be worried! Therfore questions:-

1) Does the fact he came over and stayed so late show interest even though he didnt hit on me?

2) Do I need to do anything?

3) How long do guys normally take to ask a girl out on a second date?

4) Do you think he knows i like him?

Thanx

do you need to be worried? you let a man in your home for the first time, he may have checked out your place,Meaning he may be a crook. do you need to do anything, how about putting a alarm on you home, no disrespect.

It's impossible to know what he's thinking so don't tie yourself up in knots about it! Send him a friendly text asking how his week's going. That'll show you're interested, without appearing needy. If he responds, but with no mention of another date, then he must have some interest but for one reason or another is a bit chicken! If that happens, say you were thinking about going to see x band or x film and ask if he'd like to join you.

You never know, he might be having the same dilemma as you. He might think you changed your mind about him when you took him back to yours and is now afraid of rejection.

Anyway, to cut the ramblings short, you can't humiliate yourself with a quick, friendly text so give it a go. Good luck!
