I'm a 25 year old male, and I have had gas on a daily basis for the last month or so. I pass gas anywhere from 55 to 70 times a day. How do I stop from passing gas so much?

I had the same problem until I had an operation for gallstones. At the same time I gave up a lot of dairy products so exactly which one helped the most is debatable........ try the easy one first.............

Wow sorry to hear. For some reason we hardly give a thought to a person burping and excusing themselves, but if someone passes gas we get embarrassed. Probably because burps rarely smell, but flatus stinks.
It's all gas where ever you release it from. It could be your diet or it may be some other gastrointestinal condition. Crohns Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc.
If I were you I'd make an appointment with my doctor and he may refer you to the nutritionist and/or a doctor specializing in gastrointestinal conditions.
Stay away from fast food and cola's.
A balanced diet consisting all the the food groups is best.
Best wishes

Try taking simethicone tablets about three times a day, and see if this helps. At WalMart they are called AntiGas pills or GasRelief. If you cannot find this brand GasX should work. It wouldn't be a bad idea to see a GI doctor is your problem is as extreme as you state. It could be an indication that something is wrong inside your intestines. I'd get it checked out, just in case.

Milanta is an antacid which comes in a liquid form should ease your problem and go to the docs and ask for an ultra sound to ensure you dont have gall stones. The other cause could be a bacterial infection within yor digestive system so it could amount to a dose of antibiotics,

you wrote you change your diet frequently, that may have something to do with it, plus if your drinking whole milk some people can't handle it and drink 2% or skim...If you eat any form of cabbage: Cole slaw, cooked, sauerkraut, that will do it to. Cucumbers and broccoli are also gassy vegetables...

lactose intolerant? You change your diet often and this cannot be the reason? Stick with a regular diet for two weeks and see if that helps...

keep control over your food. You should walk for some time. Eat less fat food, avoid milk.
Also consult a Doctor. It can be due to some medicine you take.
