You're probably thinking too small and you're probably being too humble. Consciences tend to fester and grow on numerous little sins, and an overdeveloped sense of responsibility for others can get out of control.
First, examine your conscience. Determine what kinds of things bother you, then resolve to do those things in a bigger way. Don't waste your energy on petty and victimless crimes. If you want to kill off a conscience, you have to show it who's boss. You have to really hurt someone, financially, physically and/or socially, enough that there is outrage and accusation.
That's key. If people complain at you, you're on the spot. Admission or apology shows weakness, a sign of conscience. This is an opportunity to develop your lying skills. By proclaiming your innocence or the misinterpretation of your motives in public, you confuse your own conscience. If forced to apologize, focus on regret, not contrition. Say something like, "I'm sorry you feel that way," or, "I'm sorry if you think I intended that." By denying responsibility for your actions, you are teaching your conscience to ignore what it sees, gradually putting it to sleep.
Practice telling yourself, "I am a leader. A leader understands things in a way ordinary people don't. My decisions are always for the greater good, even if others don't understand them. They are either ignorant or jealous because I choose to take charge of every situation." Make this your mantra.
If you need further self-convincing about your "worthiness", you can also practice this: "Because I take on more responsibility for my situation than ordinary people, I am entitled to considerations that they may consider undeserved. After all, I am only human, and I am assuming a super-human role by my leadership. It is only fair that I be allowed a few extraordinary privileges and compensations. By choosing them, I demonstrate the fact."
This are actually great leadership secrets, used by business, religious and political leaders for centuries. By practicing with these effective secret tools, you will soon be conscience free and able to accomplish far more than ethically-constrained wimps.

Hello!! :o) I agree with 'Bandit'. Take LOTS and LOTS of illegal, hard-core drugs. Every drug addict I've ever known could care less about anyone or anything. They destroy the lives of others and don't even give a damn. Talk about 'freedom'. Then again... you COULD try LISTENING to what your conscience is telling you. That might be fun. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

It is almost impossible to plan the perfect murder since we have so much technology in forensics. It would have to be the most fiendish and dastardly plan I have ever come up with...Let me think on it a little bit.
