why are caucasions so much more articulate than asians?

I'm asian myself, and i cant help but admire how caucasions are able to express themselves so well verbally. They can speak continuously without having pauses or hesitation. Whereas i find that asians, even in their own language, struggle to express themselves well in words. Is it because caucasians are just more talented verbally??

English is easy to speak and write.
Caucasians by the most part only speak English in America, their native tounge gets lost throughout the genereations. Minorities in general learn 2 or more languanges so its easy to get confused while speaking english or hesitate because we are used to speaking to others in our native tongue. Being fluent it two or more languages is an accomplishement in itself. So don't feel inferior. Sooner or later everyone in the US will be speaking primarily english and we will be able to communicate like the caucasions. When they came here and learned english they had problems too. I still heard old Italians and Polish people speaking mangled english.
Besides, nothing but BS comes out of caucasians mouths anyway.

I think you're mistaken. I had friends who were Chinese when I was a teen (I'm French, by the way), and they could speak French properly, without a problem. Actually, I was living on a French island, where the population speak Creole as well. Well, some of them could switch from French to Creole without a problem!

Same here in London! I've met a lot of South-East Asian people, and they really don't have a problem in English! I know English is not my first language, but I can definitely tell you that they have no problem whatsoever to express themselves!

It probably just depends on the individual: some people are better speakers than others. I know I'm not a good speaker. It doesn't mean I don't speak French properly. I just "hesitate" a bit more than others (probably because I was very shy until I turned 23-24!)

I believe it is a cultural difference. Caucasians like to speak and express themselves with friends, with family, with the media, and even in public, like for example a political speech, or a business report live on television. I have noticed that the Asians do not speak much as a rule, I think that is their culture.
You mention that Asians, even in their own language struggle to express themselves well in words. Since they hardly speak, then they do not have the practice to speak well, and fluently. They should maybe read, listen to television, etc. But it could also be a physiological reason, because it is true that Caucasians like to speak and express their opinions and feelings. But, I have noticed that Asians are very good with money and mathematics, and computer programming, as a group, of course there are few exceptions, but in general, that is the way it is. Another idea comes to my mind, that the Asian people are too busy working or doing stuff around the house or attending cultural events that they do not even have the time to speak. Maybe not all Asians were taught the symbolic language, apparently one should know about 4000 characters and words by the time reaching university. Perhaps most people just have basic education, and maybe some don't have any education. But in any case, the Asians are excellent with numbers, like accountants, CAs etc. and excellent in computer programming. So maybe there is a difference in brain structure between the two cultures, Caucasians, having greater ability to speak, and more accessibility to education, reading and television, whereas Asians concentrate on mathematics and computer programming, it is just the way their brains work, or what they excel at. Wow! I have had numerous Asian friends through the years and I have never noticed that they were particularly inarticulate. There are numerous Asian woman anchoring TV news programs all over the country and they all can speak very well ... otherwise they would not have gotten the jobs. Now, on standardized tests like the SAT whites tend to do a little (and I mean little) better verbally and Asians tend to do better quantitatively but I cannot believe this difference is large enough to account for Asians being somehow inarticulate as a group. I don't know, I think that you might be a little overly sensitive about your own group’s supposed shortcomings and also may be over generalizing. Plus, I think that this whole "competition" between the races is very destructive in the long run. The future of humanity is obviously as multi-ethnic societies, just look around. I think that we better learn how to live together and not focus on our small differences but rather focus on our big similarities or there won’t be much of a future.
